The Public Interest Advocacy Collaborative is a non-profit organization composed of lawyers and community members working together to expand access to the law and to advocate on behalf of disadvantaged communities.
On an annual basis, the Public Interest Advocacy Collaborative awards the PIAC Service Award to interns and volunteers who successfully complete 20 hours of volunteer service and demonstrate exemplary dedication to the public good. Candidates for the award are reviewed by the PIAC Board on a semi-annual basis and receive their award at PIAC’s annual retreat.
